AR software

Preparation of Augmented reality learning module consist from 6 (six) main components:

  1. Android mobile application that will be the main interface
  2. Background administrative platform
  3. Web platform for monitoring of the project results for students teams
  4. Q&A database (400 STEM related questions and 1600 possible answers)
  5. Database, for keeping the needed data
  6. Web hosting and rent of a dedicated server

Main aim of this completely new created innovative educational software is to generate Augmented Reality symbols on the predefined locations (with x, y, z coordinates) in towns of Kochani, Pazardzik and Ludbreg. Those symbols can be seen through cameras from any mobile device that have Android based operative system. On those devices will be installed applicative software which will allow interaction with AR symbols – by clicking on symbol a question and four possible answer (one correct and 3 false) will appear on the screen of mobile device. With correct answer students will received points. Results can be seen on the web platform.

One created software can be used by anyone who will install it on Android device, will fulfill Q&A database and will create x, y, z coordinates where symbols to appear (this can be done for each location on Earth without limits). Only the interested schools outside the project partners secondary school will need to ensure rent of domain and dedicated server where application will be placed for their use.

Transferability of this IO is large beacuse it will be available on project web side together with Handbook (manual) for its using.

Main responsible project partners for this intellectual output is ICT SME from Kochani. Besides the development of new ICT education tool, representatives of ICT company will ensure appropriate training for teachers from secondary school for practical using in the period of long term teaching assignments.

Also experts from ICT SME will perform the training of selected IT teachers from schools how to maintenance and administrate the software in future, after finishing the project activities. In the phase of fullfilling of Q&A database a trained secondary school teachers who are teaching STEM orientated school subject will be main responsible for producing of min 400 questions and 1600 possible answers (400 correct and 1200 false answers) in Versions on their national languages.
